Wendy was drawn to computer technology at a young age and started writing code from an early personal computer at her kitchen table in the Chicago suburbs. She knew she wanted to study technology and eventually earned an undergraduate degree in Computer Information Systems from DeVry University and a Master of Information Systems Management (MISM) degree from Keller Graduate School. Wendy’s technology career began during college while working as a part-time software developer, leading to a long career in online business and IT management. She has experience working at a variety of organizations, from a small online startup to a large government agency to a Fortune 500 company, among others. At Burke America, Wendy enjoys finding ways to solve problems and make work easier using technology. Wendy leads our information technology team and oversees development of our proprietary repair intelligence software and data products. Outside of the office, Wendy is heavily involved in the scuba diving community and spends as much time diving as possible. She enjoys the outdoors with family and friends (underwater whenever possible), bicycling, traveling the world, and hanging out with her two dachshunds.
